A Personal Message from James Mennes, Owner of Exceptional Event Productions:


Hello,

First let me thank you for considering Exceptional Events for your entertainment needs.

In the 10 years I have been a Professional Disc Jockey, I have seen my role grow a change many times.  In my early career, I spent most of my time being a 'human jukebox' doing little more than just providing great music at events.  When I expanded in to the world of Weddings and large Corporate Events, that role changed substantially as I took on the role of Professional Master of Ceremonies, and many aspects of an event coordinator.  The entertainment portion changed as well because during the late 90's and early part of the millennium, the latest craze was interactive and follow-along dances.  With the latest advances in technology, incorporating video and lighting to add another dimension to entertainment is not uncommon.

In my career, I have learned and developed many methods of providing entertainment to my clients.  And often, those methods are a result of ideas that the clients themselves bring to me.  But the one thing I have learned for certain is that EACH AND EVERY CLIENT IS UNIQUE.  Your ideas, questions, wants, and needs are not the same as anyone else I have spoken with.  Your style and personality is something attributed to only you and your special event needs to reflect that.

The only advice I can offer is that you hire someone truly professional to provide your entertainment.  Your event will only happen once, which means the entertainer has only one opportunity to make your celebration be everything you wanted and more.
